USPS Mail Service Delays

First National Bank and Trust Mail May be Experiencing Delays

Due to delays from the United States Postal Service (USPS), mail to First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) customers may also be impacted. This could include general correspondence, customer deposit statements, billing notices, late notices, maturity notices and tax documents.

COVID-19 continues to impact the United States Postal Service (USPS) processing of mail and its workforce. Mail volume has increased, but employee availability has decreased. Officials estimate as many as 14,500 postal employees are currently under quarantine. Although postal workers are next in line to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, it may take some time before the backlog of mail can be expected to ease up.
